Repair Function
A Natural Remedy for Oral Health
Myofascial release therapy is an alternative healing approach for oral and facial issues (such as headaches, TMJ, and sleep apnea). Our natural technique restores muscles of the face, jaw, tongue, and lip to their proper function.
Headaches
Muscular tension in the head, neck, and shoulders often contributes to chronic headaches. Myofascial release at the trigger point improves oxygen flow and circulation, relaxes muscles, and restores myofascial tissues to a healthy state.
Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea occurs when your airway becomes blocked at night and interrupts your sleep. Expert myofascial therapists can help improve oxygen flow when obstructions are caused by congestion, weak soft tissues in the back of your throat, and even your tongue.
Digestive Issues
When TMJ pain makes eating difficult, you may not chew food thoroughly -- which may lead to stomach upset and acid reflux. Releasing muscle tension to improve jaw mobility can help you enjoy eating healthy meals once again.
Jaw Discomfort
Jaw pain is often the result of a temporomandibular (TMJ) joint disorder. TMJ tension can lead to nighttime teeth grinding, disruptions in sleep, and difficulty chewing. Myofascial release improves jaw mobility and relieves the associated pain.

How to Prepare
The therapist needs to be able to see your body during treatment, so please follow these guidelines:
Women
Please wear under garments or tank and loose fitting athletic shorts.
Men
Please wear undergarments or loose fitting athletic shorts.
No lotions, topical ointments, or oils on areas of treatment. Lotions and make-up provide too much slip, preventing the therapist’s hands from performing the holds properly.
